Chaplains Connect Group is a support group for those who serve in the vital ministry of Chaplaincy within the Baptist family in London. The LB Chaplains Connect Group aims to support those who serve in this vital ministry.

Chaplains work hard in serving our city and encounter many challenging and critical situations. Chaplaincy is a frontline, marketplace ministry and Baptist chaplains are serving in hospitals, airports, education, retirement homes, YMCA, the arm forces, in prison ministry and much more.

Our aim is to celebrate the uniqueness of the identity of chaplaincy ministry. To build a support group and a space where chaplains can share experiences, struggles and ideas. And to provide an opportunity for reflection and prayer support for chaplains within the London Baptists.

Chaplains Connect Group meets four times a year to:

  • Ensure that LB Chaplains are connected and in fellowship
  • Give regular support to one another
  • Share and learn from each other’s experiences
  • Empower each other through prayer & reflection

If you are a Baptist chaplain serving in London whether in full-time, part-time, paid or voluntary position, we would love to have you join us!

The dates for 2025 are 26th February, 21st May, 17th September and 19th November.

The meeting is between 4pm and 5pm on zoom
