Brian Smith, CYF lead for London Baptists, hosted an Activity Day for Young People from across the capital's Baptist churches at Stubbers Activity Centre in Upminster on the 24th October 2026. Brian writes:

We had a fantastic day with 90 plus Baptists from across London as we gathered together to take part in a range of activities.

Despite the rainy weather, the young people traversed the High Ropes course, zapped each other at laser tag, and tried to avoid getting too wet in the Bell Boating (yes on the lake). They fired arrows at targets in archery, and at each other in archery combat, climbed the climbing wall and threw axes (at targets, not at each other!).

The day ended with pizza, worship (thanks Josh) and a talk from Katherine Brown from the Evangelical Alliance.

This type of event is going to be an annual thing for London Baptists, so if you and/or your young people have FOMO, then keep an eye out for the 2027 event information.
