Report on the Capital Ring Prayer Walk

Efforts to ring the city with prayer went very well with over 200 people taking part. We prayed for numerous issues including:

• Thanksgiving for Pastor Kingsley Appiagyei’s presidency;
• God’s will to be done in the upcoming elections;
• For the Lord to nullify the BNP threat in Barking & Dagenham;
• Thanksgiving for Dr Pat Took’s wonderful and tireless service to the LBA & Baptist family;
• Wisdom for those conducting the LBA staffing review;
• The Lord to end the mindless & wasteful deaths of young people;
• Raising our cries for justice on behalf of the poor and the marginalised; and
• Raising a plethora of local, national and global issues to the Lord.

From comments received people were very happy to take part and would be happy to do it again. I hope that next year we can cover all 15 sections.
