David PileDavid Pile is the LBA's Olympic & Paralympic Church Engagement Coordinator appointed at the beginning of June 2011. This post is funded by the Baptist Union. David's role is to encourage churchs to get involved with the London Games - click to see the full Job Specification. David is working closely with More than Gold. Follow the LBA Olympics and Paralympics 2012 initiatives on Facebook and Twitter: Previously David was Associate Pastor at Kenton Baptist church which is in the London Borough of Harrow and he was part of that fellowship for approximately 5 years. Prior to becoming Associate Pastor, he worked for a Christian charity called PECAN based in Peckham SE London that sought to help local people overcome the issues surrounding unemployment. He served there for 5 years before being made redundant due to a lack of funding for the project he was working on. He trained at London School of Theology (previously known as London Bible College). He is married and has one daughter.
